Accompanists

Hyejun Kim Korea

Pianist Hyejun Kim studied at Yewon School, and graduated with distinction in piano performance from Seoul Arts High School. After completing her degree with honors from Seoul National University College of Music, she received the Artist Diploma as a scholarship student from the Accompaniment Department at Korea National University of Arts. She won prizes in Ewha & Kyunghyang Competition, Seongjeong Competition, Eumyeon Competition, Music Journal Competition, Korea Liszt Competition, Kookmin Ilbo Competition, etc. She has appeared in concerts for the 'Rachmaninoff Complete Etudes-Tableaux’ Series and the 'Complete Beethoven Sonatas’ Series launched by the PoAH Piano Society. She has been actively performing on major domestic stages such as Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, KBS 1FM Radio, Kumho Art Hall, Perigee Hall, and Seoul Arts Center.

Eunhee Park Korea

Eunhee Park, a pianist, studied at Seoul Arts High School and at Korea National University of Arts. Upon graduation, she went to Germany to attend Staatliche Hochschule fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart, where she received K.A. Diplom.

 

She participated in several national competitions, such as the Hankook Children’s Daily Music Competition, Samik Piano Competition. Internationally, she was awarded an accompanying diploma from the Beethoven's Hradec International Music Competition in Czech, and was widely recognized for her outstanding solo and collaborative performances.  

 

In addition, she has been performing extensively, including her collabroation with the Ulsan Symphony Orchestra, and recitals at the Baden-Württemberg State Museum for Musical Instruments, the Grosser Sitzungssaal of Stuttgart City Hall, etc. She also participated in the Daejeon International Music Festival, and a performance at the Music Critics Association.   Eunhee Park held adjunct faculty positions at Incheon Arts High School and Myongji University. At present, she is a candidate for the Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano under the guidance of Prof. Vincent de Vries.

Yeri Yoo Korea

Yeri Yoo, who began learning piano at age 6 from her mother, attended Yewon School, where she studied with Prof. Kyeong-mi Lee. Then, she went to Seoul Arts High School in the class of Prof. Youngho Kim. Following her graduation from Seoul National University under the guidance of Prof. Yoonha Hwang, she moved to Budapest, Hungary. There, she became a scholar of world-renowned pianist Sándor Falvai in the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and received her master’s degree. Upon returning to Korea, she was admitted to the Korea National University of Arts, pursuing Graduate Course in Accompanying. 

 

Already at her student years in Seoul National University, she was invited to perform a Thursday solo recital at Youngsan Art Hall, and won prizes at the Nan-pa, Haneum and the Korea Liszt competitions. She also premiered new works by several composers in the Daegu International Contemporary Music Festival, the KOCOA Music Festival, and in the Daejeon Contemporary Music Association’s subscription concert.   Following her degree in Accompanying, she worked as an accompanist for various musicians' solo recitals at Ilshin Hall, Youngsan Art Hall, Seoul Arts Center, and Kumho Art Hall. She also served as an accompanist at Cantus Music Camp. In 2020, she appeared as a guest pianist for the International Cello Competition Antonio Janigro, and had served as an accompanist for several world-class cellists.
